The Group catches the ball on the bounce
As at 31 December 2006, TOYOTA GABON together with SODIM TP totalled 2,257 new vehicles sold, against 1,884 for the same period last year, that is, an increase of 19.,8%. This nice performance enables the Group to recover its leadership of the market over the second half of the year 2006 with 50.3 % of shares of the market.

The car market: as dynamic as ever
The number of new vehicles sold in 2006 is up 22 per cent, as compared with 2005, rising to 4,491 from 3,674. This growth is mainly to be attributed to Japanese car makes which dominate the market with 77.8 % of sales, including especially TOYOTA , the lead make, which, alone, totals 34.3%.
Sales of European makes have increased to 18.5% in 2006 from 15.4% in 2005 (Peugeot, Renault and MAN recorded the highest increases). American cars have also seen an increase in sales from 2.5 in 2005 to 3.1% in 2006.
