CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

General presentation

Missions
 

(place in the hierarchical structure, main tasks, interdepartmental relations, responsibilities,…)

At a general level, controls and oversees the day-to-day book-keeping, analyses and justifies the accounts and prepares the production of financial statements and tax declarations. In this regard, he/she

  • controls and certifies the operations issued by departments and ensures the presence of receipts,
  • handles the mail related to the accounting and financial operations,
  • ensures the posting of specific accounting entries,
  • effects receipts and disbursements,
  • draws up the cash position statement,
  • updates the accounting indicators
  • records tangible assets and the amortization of investments,
  • authorizes the opening of accounts (general and third-party)
  • draws up inventories and centralizes payroll operations.

Is placed under the authority of the Administrative and Financial Manager.


Profile
 

( Requested knowledge, expected skills, education, …)

Required qualifications : Higher education : Bac(1) + 4 years (DECS (2), MA in management) or BTS in accounting with extensive experience, good practical knowledge of micro-computing and accounting softwares
Requested personal abilities : good relational quality, team spirit, method and organization, sense of responsibilities, leadership capacity
Requested behaviour : rigour, discretion, authority, availability.

(1) Ndt : Bac : A-levels (GB), high school diploma ( USA ).
(2) Ndt : DECS : postgraduate qualification in accounting.
