THE PRESIDENT'S WORD

At the end of 2007, our group celebrated the 50th anniversary of its presence in Gabon.
On this young continent, Africa, where short-living could be set up as a rule, we succeeded in going through history, from colonial rule to democracy, abiding by the universal values with which we started and that still motivate us nowadays:

  1. Collective preservation of our economic village
  2. Respect for men and for the elders’ wisdom
  3. Careful and harmonious renewal of generations
  4. Long-term vision; and not the eye on the clock

These values are the ones that inspire our philosophy and help us overcome the tests of time.
Our good balance sheets and performances depend on this philosophy. It will be the coming generations’ responsibility to perpetuate it for the group to live and also for this exceptional adventure to serve as a model for others.
Our hope now is to see our country emerge. As for us, we intend to remain one of its most dynamic actors.
